Finch Bay Unveils New Luxury Suites

Finch Bay Galápagos Hotel is launching six exclusive new suites designed for travelers seeking a refined escape on Santa Cruz Island.

As one of the few lodging options in the Galápagos Islands—a globally recognized archipelago off Ecuador’s coast—Finch Bay stands out as the only beachfront hotel on Santa Cruz. This island, the second largest in the archipelago, is home to Puerto Ayora, the Galápagos’ largest town, and is famous for its iconic giant tortoises.

After undergoing extensive renovations, the hotel is proud to introduce the new "Evolution Suites," available for booking now. These suites are nestled in a lush garden, just a short stroll from the main hotel building. The ground-floor suites offer views of the island’s native flora, while the first-floor suites boast sweeping vistas of the ocean and beach.

Each suite, ranging from 177 to 185 square feet, is designed with earthy tones and features teak accents and contemporary furnishings. Guests can choose between a king-size bed or two double beds. Every suite also includes a spacious private outdoor area, with balconies ranging from 52 to 76 square feet. Reflecting Finch Bay’s commitment to sustainability, 40 percent of the hotel’s energy is derived from solar panels.

To create the Evolution Suites, Finch Bay transformed six existing rooms, keeping its total of 33 accommodations in line with local regulations.

Perfect for a Galápagos vacation—whether as a standalone destination or an extension of an expedition cruise—the hotel provides a premium experience. Its signature restaurant incorporates locally sourced ingredients, with 40 percent coming from on-site produce. Guests can also unwind at the hotel’s spa, which features massage rooms, hot tubs, a gym, and a yoga shala.
