LUXURY AMAZON AND GALAPAGOS CRUISE

12 Days from $9,047 PP

Many people dream of traveling down the Amazon and cruising through the wildlife mecca of the Galapagos Islands. There are Galapagos tours, and there are Amazon tours. Here is an opportunity to experience both exotic destinations in one Ecuador vacation package. Combining an Amazon cruise with a Galapagos cruise is the ideal trip for adventurous explorers that will give you the perfect experience and most rewarding wildlife expedition. This is a journey that combines luxury and adventure where physical and spiritual worlds entwine.

The adventure begins with private guided sightseeing in Quito. You can take a photo at the “Center of the World.” You’ll also explore one of the oldest streets in Quito to visit with local artists and taste some Ecuadorian chocolate at a chocolate factory. Next, we spend 5 days on a river cruise in the splendor of the Amazon, staying aboard the Manatee Amazon Explorer. You will explore the heart of the amazon rainforest surrounded by lush vegetation and abundant tropical wildlife.

We fly from the mainland to the Island of San Cristobal in the Galapagos Islands and board the Ocean Spray Catamaran Yacht to embark on an exciting 4-day cruise among various Galápagos Islands. Have your camera ready as your Naturalist points out colonies of sea lions, pelicans, albatross, several species of Darwin’s finches, marine iguanas, flamingos, masked boobies, blue-footed boobies, frigatebirds, storm petrels, short-eared owls, and other birds. Each day venture to a new island which is home to species found nowhere else in the world! You’ll also have a chance to snorkel in the tropical waters and perhaps get a look at sea turtles, sharks, and rays.
